The goals for Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 Physical Education classes are for the students to become comfortable and aware in their physical surroundings enhances the development of large motor skills. Students work on various ways to move that include catching, throwing, striking, kicking and locomotor movements. Students learn to listen and follow directions so that low-level games can be played.
The Lower School Physical Education curriculum is designed for students to have fun and enjoy physical activity while learning skills and increasing physical fitness. Students are also introduced to more highly organized games that lead up to more competitive games lead up and team sports.
The goal of Middle School Physical Education is to further develop sports skills and increase physical fitness awareness. Active games and enjoyable sports such as flag football and "capture the flag" promote good sportsmanship while building strength and endurance. Students in Middle School attend Physical Education classes three times per week.
