In September of 1968, Saint Paul's School opened its doors for the first time. A number of local families were seeking a more personal approach to education, one that would challenge and motivate students to perform to their highest potential. These visionaries began classes housed at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension. They decided to name the school Saint Paul's in honor of a great teacher of the early church, a teacher who was tireless and totally dedicated to his work. The school took as its motto “High Quality Involves Hard Work,” a phrase that has inspired students and faculty throughout the school’s history.
Since those opening days at the Church of Ascension and throughout its growth, Saint Paul’s has been true to the vision of its founders. The school continually seeks to respond to the challenges presented in an ever-changing world…always striving to create a special place for children.
