Art and music have important roles in the curriculum, as they stimulate the creativity inherent in developing minds and provide a rich balance between academics and other activities. At Saint Paul’s, students explore their creative potential through music, drama, and art, and develop an appreciation of past and present achievements in the visual and performing arts. Teachers use textbooks, musical instruments, and a wide variety of art media to help students hear, see, touch, and feel in their artistic endeavors.

Special fine arts performances by professional actors, musicians, and artists are scheduled throughout the year, and children stage frequent performances for student and parent audiences. An annual artist-in-residence program allows students one-on-one interaction with professional artists in a diverse variety of media. Past artist-in-residence projects are proudly displayed on the school campus.
