The aim of the middle school physical education program is to further develop sports skills and increase health/physical fitness attributes. The physical education program includes volleyball, basketball, soccer, track and field, baseball/softball, flag football, field hockey, golf, and badminton. The students are tested during the year on flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, lower/upper body strength and endurance, and speed/agility. Students are assigned and dress in the physical education uniform. They attend class three times a week. Sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence are enhanced through participation in all activities. |
