For over 38 years, Saint Paul's has been recognized for its rigorous curriculum and talented, caring faculty making it one of the very best independent schools in the state of Florida.

Saint Paul's now seeks to strengthen its position by bringing exciting new improvements to its campus, which will impact all students at all grade levels. In doing so, we are completing a commitment we set in force five years ago: to continue to improve our campus while maintaining optimal learning environments. That clearly adds value to the Saint Paul's experience for all our students and responsibly completes the School's master site plan. In addition, Saint Paul's will create a new Faculty Endowment. The objective of this endowment is to substantially increase faculty compensation over time to enable Saint Paul's to attract and retain the very best teachers.

First, we have completed construction of a brand, new $4 million, 22,000 square foot Classroom Complex housing grades 2 - 4 (May of 2006). Without adding to enrollment, we also reconfigured our existing space for both lower and middle school students. The renovated (previous lower school) building now houses grades preschool - 1. The construction and renovation of these buildings has allowed for more age-appropriate spaces across the campus and promotes planning throughout lower and middle school divisions.

These changes help unify the campus into a more cohesive learning environment. They are both prudent measures for current students as well as cost-effective safeguards for future generations of students who will enroll here.

As we make these important improvements in our physical plant and facilities, we will build a faculty endowment and continue to grow the school's general endowment. By building a faculty endowment, Saint Paul's School is not only making a meaningful investment in our teachers, but also engaging a valuable tool to attract, hire and retain the very highest caliber of faculty for our current and future students. By increasing Saint Paul's general endowment, we will provide the school with more working capital for operating needs that exceed tuition revenues. A strong endowment makes SPS more time and resource efficient.
